FusionMesh™ Technology
Hyperion™ Wireless
Lighting Control
Flawless. Synchronized. Wireless.
Stadium-grade outdoor wireless DMX and DALI control without the data cables. One controller per pole. No hubs. No cloud. No recurring fees.
Built for the Realities of Large Outdoor Spaces
Traditional wireless lighting systems chain every fixture to a central gateway — one hub offline means an entire zone goes dark. Hyperion™ eliminates that fragility with FusionMesh™: a fully decentralized mesh where every pole is a peer, not a dependent. One intelligent controller per pole replaces the tangle of per-fixture controllers, reducing hardware count, simplifying commissioning, and cutting installation labor by roughly 80%. The system operates 100% offline, with all scheduling and scene logic stored locally on each controller.
Core Differentiators
Engineered specifically to solve the unique challenges of high-mast outdoor applications.
Zero-Hub Architecture
FusionMesh™ is fully decentralized — no gateway to fail, no single point of network collapse. Every pole acts as a peer node, maintaining venue-wide synchronization with or without internet access.
One Controller Per Pole
Replace one wireless controller per fixture with a single Hyperion™ unit per pole. Fewer devices, fewer failure points, faster commissioning, and significantly lower aggregate hardware cost on every installation.
Example: A 12-pole stadium with 8 fixtures per pole = 96 wireless nodes with per-fixture systems. Hyperion™ replaces that with 12 pole controllers — 87% fewer devices to purchase, commission, and maintain.
Fewer Controllers, Lower Overhead
Consolidating one controller per fixture down to one per pole proportionally reduces standby power draw, maintenance touchpoints, and long-term failure risk — across every pole in the installation.
FusionMesh™: 2–5ms Latency
The FusionMesh™ protocol delivers pole-to-pole synchronization with 2–5ms latency — indistinguishable from a wired DMX run. Supports seamless RGB color chases, dynamic team intros, and broadcast-quality synchronized effects.
RF-Efficient by Design
Per-fixture wireless systems flood the 2.4GHz band with constant traffic from potentially hundreds of radios on a single venue. FusionMesh™ consolidates to one coordinated transmitter per pole — dramatically reducing RF congestion in the already-crowded airspace shared by WiFi, cellular, and other control systems.
Photocell & Occupancy Sensing
Each Hyperion™ controller supports both a photocell input and an occupancy/motion sensor input. The photocell ramps fixtures gradually from zero to full output as the sun sets — automatically, without any manual trigger. The occupancy input dims fixtures to a preset level within minutes of a space going vacant, then restores full output when activity returns. Both operate independently or in combination.
Explore the Technology Behind Hyperion™
Each protocol Hyperion™ supports has its own story. Dig into the specifics — from wireless DMX512 for entertainment, to RGB color control for your venue.

From high school stadiums to municipal parks: how Hyperion™ is purpose-built for the high-mast, all-weather demands of outdoor sports facilities.
Explore Venue Solutions →Built for the Operator, Not Just the Installer.
After commissioning, Hyperion™ is designed to be simple enough for a venue manager, athletic director, or facilities staff to run day-to-day — no calls back to the installer, no IT department required.
The Hyperion™ mobile app puts complete venue control in your pocket. Your staff controls lighting from the sideline, the press box, or the parking lot.
One-Tap Scene Recall
Press "Game Day" and the field goes to full intensity, full white — instantly across every pole. No menus, no IT login.
Set-It-and-Forget-It Schedules
Program recurring game-night schedules once — lights come on at the right level at the right time, automatically, with no manual intervention.
School Colors & Event Modes
Saved RGB presets for school colors, holidays, and special events. Staff selects a saved color show — no programming knowledge needed.
Works Without Internet
No cloud account, no service subscription. Schedules run locally even when the internet is down — the game goes on regardless.
Why Hyperion™ Wins Against Gateway-Based Systems
Gateway architectures were designed for office buildings. Hyperion™ was designed for the field.
The Gateway Tax
Competitors route all control traffic through a central gateway — a single point of failure, a recurring hardware cost, and often a cloud subscription dependency. Hyperion™ has no gateway. FusionMesh™ nodes route directly to each other the moment the system powers on.
No Cloud Hostage Situation
Many wireless lighting platforms gate features — RGB color, scheduling changes, override modes — behind active cloud subscriptions. When the subscription lapses, functionality disappears. Hyperion™ stores all control logic locally. Scenes and schedules survive indefinitely without any third-party dependency.
Installation Labor That's 80% Gone
Wired DMX home runs require a conduit path from every fixture back to a central rack. On a multi-pole sports facility, that's thousands of feet of wire and significant trenching. Hyperion™ requires only power to each pole — FusionMesh™ handles all inter-pole communication wirelessly.
Cloud-Locked Competitors
Some platforms require an active cloud subscription to change schedules, run RGB scenes, or trigger override modes. When the subscription lapses — or the internet goes down on game day — those features disappear. Hyperion™ runs 100% locally. Scenes, schedules, and overrides are stored on the pole controllers and execute whether or not there's an internet connection anywhere on the property.
Calculate Your Hyperion™ ROI
Adjust the sliders to match your installation and see an honest, side-by-side cost breakdown.
* Estimates based on ~3W standby per competitor fixture controller vs. ~1W per Hyperion pole controller. Power and labor figures are approximations — actual results vary by installation. Cloud subscription savings for per-fixture wireless systems are shown as a separate line item when that system type is selected. Photocell-driven dusk dimming provides additional fixture energy savings not reflected here.

Hyperion™ vs. Per-Fixture Cloud Wireless:
5-Year Cost Reality
Hardware cost, mandatory cloud subscriptions, and standby energy overhead — side by side over five years.
* Hardware: Hyperion™ $600/pole (list price). Competitor node cost is adjustable above. Energy: ~3W standby per competitor fixture node vs. ~1W per Hyperion pole controller, 24/7. Cloud subscription applies to competitor system only. Does not include fixture cost or installation labor — comparison reflects control system costs only. Photocell-driven dimming provides additional fixture energy savings not shown.
Multi-Protocol Lighting Control
Hyperion™ is an extremely flexible platform built to support mixed lighting technologies on the same pole, enabling future-proof deployments and vendor flexibility.

Entertainment + Infrastructure Hybrid Capability
Most municipal lighting systems are static and limited to simple scheduling. Hyperion™ bridges infrastructure and entertainment lighting — run white sports lighting alongside event modes like RGB school colors, holiday lighting, and dynamic team introductions from the same installation, with no additional hardware.

A scalable modular architecture lets you start small and expand easily — perfect for phased upgrades and retrofit projects.
Energy Code Compliance: ASHRAE 90.1 and CA Title 24 §130.2 require three control types for outdoor lighting: daylight control (photocell or astronomical switch), scheduled reduction (≥50% during off-peak hours), and occupancy-based dimming (reduce within 15 min of vacancy). Hyperion™ satisfies all three natively — photocell input, built-in scheduling, and occupancy/motion sensor input — on every pole controller. No additional control hardware required. Relevant for municipal, school, and publicly funded projects subject to energy code review.
